Walk To End Alzheimer's
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
A devastating Category 4 hurricane that made landfall on Texas and Louisiana in August 2017, causing catastrophic flooding, many deaths, and inflicting $125 billion in damage, primarily from catastrophic rainfall-triggered flooding in the Houston metropolitan area and Southeast Texas. SCC donated food and much needed emergency supplies across the Houston area.
Prelude Music Foundation
Founded with the mission to transform the lives of under served children in Houston through the power of music. This also includes the Mercury Orchestra. The Prelude Music Foundation will ensure the power of music transforms the cognitive, language, social, physical, and emotional development of every child.
Drive for the Cure Foundation
Since its inception, the Drive for the Cure Foundation has raised over $2 million dollars through annual events such as the Drive for the Cure Golf Tournament. Proceeds from these events are put towards enhancing the health, well-being, and quality of life for those struggling with cancer or neurological illnesses. Donations contribute to purchasing of special diagnostic and treatment equipment, and fund assistance and treatment for less fortunate families who are coping with devastating illness.
Operation Smile has provided hundreds of thousands of safe surgeries for those born with cleft lip and cleft palate. With more than three decades of expertise, Operation Smile creates solutions that deliver free surgery to people where it’s needed most.
